Our own line, prepared at our compounding bench, sits alongside the everyday wellness shelf. There is no cart and no price list here on purpose — a pharmacist is at the counter, and the whole point is that you can ask what is in something, and whether it clashes with your prescriptions, before you buy.

What it is made of, before you buy it
A fair share of our customers keep kosher, and plenty of others avoid animal-sourced ingredients for their own reasons. Either way, the question is the same one and it deserves an answer at the counter rather than a squint at the small print.

Vegetarian capsules, not gelatin
Every formula in our own line is filled in a vegetarian capsule rather than a gelatin one. That is a fact about the shell; what is inside it is on the label, and the pharmacist will go through it with you.

Ask where an ingredient came from
We do not publish a kosher certification for anything on this page, and we are not going to imply one. What we can do is look up what a capsule shell and an ingredient are made of, before you buy rather than after. Kosher and Shomer Shabbos →

Allergens, dyes and fillers
If you avoid something — fish, shellfish, a dye, a coating, an allergen — say so at the counter and we will read the label with you. One of our own formulas contains marine collagen, and we would rather you heard that from us than found it at home.
The wellness shelf
Alongside our own line, the shop keeps a wellness shelf of everyday non-prescription products. What is in stock moves with what people buy, so we would rather you phoned and asked than drove over on a guess.
Naming something here is not a recommendation to take it. Whether any of it suits you depends on your own health and the medicines you already take, and that is a two-minute conversation at the counter.

Do you carry a particular brand or product?
Ask before you make the trip. What is on the shelf moves with what people buy, so a list on a web page would be out of date the week after it was written. Call 416-789-1800 and we will look on the shelf while you are on the phone.
Are the capsules vegetarian?
Every formula in our own line is made in a vegetarian capsule rather than a gelatin one. If you are asking because of kashrus, or because you avoid animal-sourced ingredients for another reason, say so when you call and it goes on the record before you buy. Are they kosher?
We do not publish a kosher certification for anything on this page and we will not imply one we do not hold. What we will do is look up what a capsule shell and an ingredient are made of and tell you plainly, before you buy. That is a question we get a lot and a fair one. Call 416-789-1800.
Can I take these alongside my prescriptions?
Always check with the pharmacist first. Some of these ingredients interact with common medicines, for example turmeric with blood thinners and B12 with certain drugs. Checking is free and it is exactly what a pharmacy is for. Call 416-789-1800.
Can I buy them online?
No, and we want to be straight about that. There is no cart, no checkout and no price list on this page. Our own line is prepared by a pharmacist and handed over in person, after a short conversation, so we can check it against what you already take. Call 416-789-1800 or come in and ask.
What if you do not have what I am looking for?

Can I bring in everything I am already taking?

What a formula is for, and whether it suits you at all, is a conversation with the pharmacist — based on your own health and the medicines you already take, not on a product name. Our own formulas are prepared by a pharmacist and handed to you here; they are not licensed natural health products and do not carry a product number (an NPN). Products we stock from other makers carry their own labelling, and we will read it with you.
