What happens when

  1. Today

You call us, or drop in, with the name of your current pharmacy.

  2. Behind the scenes

We handle the transfer with your current pharmacy and review everything as it arrives.

  3. A day or two later

We call to tell you it is done and your refills are ready with us.

Most transfers complete within a day or two; we call you when it is done, so there is nothing to chase.

Things people wonder about

Will my old pharmacy be told? Is it awkward?

We contact them, not you. Pharmacies transfer prescriptions for each other every day; it is a routine professional request, and you never need to have the conversation yourself.

Does it cost anything?

No. Transferring your prescriptions to Murray Shore is free. Prescription delivery is free too, and blister packing often costs nothing extra — ask us about your plan.

Can every medication be transferred?

Most can. Some controlled medications cannot be transferred and need a new prescription from your doctor instead. If that applies to anything you take, we tell you on the first call and help arrange the new prescription.

Does my insurance carry over?

Yes. Your drug coverage belongs to you, not to a pharmacy. Give us your benefits information once and we bill most plans directly from then on.

Can I transfer prescriptions for a parent?

Yes, caregivers arrange this often. With your parent’s permission, we take it from there: their prescriptions, refills, blister packs, and delivery, all managed through one number you can call.

What if I only want some prescriptions moved?

That is fine. Tell us which ones to move and we transfer only those. You can move the rest later, or not at all; it is entirely your choice.
